Twitter, Google and the Guardian among brands up for IPA online Media Owner Awards

The shortlist for the 2014 IPA online Media Owner Awards has been unveiled, with Google, Twitter, Facebook, the MailOnline and the Guardian among those who made the cut.

The awards were chaired by a panel including Suzy Ryder, head of digital at Maxus; Will Smyth, chief digital strategy officer, EMEA for Omnicom Media Group; and Sannah Rogers, UK group marketing and new business director at ZenithOptimedia.

Said Pete Robins, chairman of the judges, IPA Digital Media Group chairman and managing partner at Agenda 21: “Agencies need good partners, whether it be media owners with great tech or simply exceptional individuals to help us do what we do.

"The shortlist for this year’s Awards has once again highlighted some of the excellent work happening in the industry every day.”
