Details are limited but Instagram user davesplace says he came across the crash earlier this morning near the "tollway in downtown."
That's not much to go on but the pictures reveal the model suffered extensive - and most likely expensive - damage to the front fascia and rear end.
As a refresher, the P1 has a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine and an electronic motor that develops 179 PS (132 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque.
This enables the supercar to have a combined maximum output of 916 PS (674 kW) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft) of torque.
Thanks to all that power, the P1 can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
