The newly launched GR3 comes in the colour blue and will be available in Sri Lanka starting this month.
The Huawei GR3 2017 Blue is noted for its charismatic and sleek features and is available in Android 7.0 from Google.
When the flagship device was launched, the GR3 2017 was made available in three other colours; gold, silver and gray.
Now, with the new blue addition, smartphone users can opt to go for a brighter shade for a brighter and sleeker look.
The device also boasts of a 5.2 inch FHD In-cell IPS screen and a full touch screen with 2.5d curved surface supporting 5 point multi-touch.
The LCD screen showcases a resolution of IPS FHD 1920*1080 and 16M colours.
The smartphone also comes with a Kirin 655, 4*2.1GHz A53 & 4*1.7GHz A53 processor, 3GB RAM and with a high speed LTE network up to 150Mbps/50Mbps.
The GR3 2017’s 12MP Auto Focus rear camera with LED Flash+ 8MP showcases a fix focus front camera and a rear camera with large 1.25um pixels for better lowlight performance and noise reduction.
Commenting on the recent introduction from Huawei’s GR3 portfolio, Huawei Device Sri Lanka Country Head, Henry Liu said, “As always, Huawei believes in providing our customers with dynamic and new devices and we are happy to launch the GR3 Blue color variant in Sri Lanka.
The unique coloured Huawei smartphone has been accepted positively in other geographies.
The introduction of the GR3 2017 would be the first and only of its kind in the middle level price range in Sri Lanka.
The device is set to retail at LKR 31,900 and will be available island wide through selected dealers, at Singer Sri Lanka outlets and Huawei Experience centres.
Huawei has been ranked 47th among the World’s Top 100 Most Valuable Brands in 2016 in accordance with Brand Finance.
Huawei had also been recorded to have achieved the No. 72 status on Interbrand’s Best Global Brands list. In Sri Lanka, Huawei ranks as the No. 2 smartphone brand with a market share of 30% according to GfK reports.
