“In addition to updating some of our most popular platforms with higher quality dial finishings and design details that keep these iconic watches looking fresh, we have created some Limited and Special edition watches that showcase our history while being updated for the modern day.”
These Limited Edition and Special Edition collections mark “30 years of vintage heritage” and feature reissues of iconic classics from Fossil’s archives and customer favourites, Fossil added.
The Holiday 2014 watch collection comprises two vintage-inspired timepieces for women and a space-themed timepiece for men.
For her, the Limited Edition Incandesa Watch stands out with glimmering reflections of light created by the faceted crystals, indices and hands.
Featuring a radial geometric etched pattern and a brilliant diamond at 12 o’clock, the watch is available in an edition of only 1,584 pieces.
Described as “the ultimate plus one”, the Special Edition Original Boyfriend has a sporty, smart and sophisticated style. Showcasing a quirky vintage robot graphic, the dial is designed with pavé blue and silk-colored crystals.
Lastly, the Limited Edition Townsman Retro Future for him draws inspiration from the mid-century American dream of pioneering space.
This stainless steel timepiece with an interstellar graphic dial is accented with an acetate disc and rocket second hand, while the retro-inspired case gets a modern edge with pops of colour on the dial.
Available in a limited series of 1,054, this iconic style is finished with a topstitched leather strap and minted caseback.
Fossil said it will continue to celebrate its 30th anniversary throughout 2014 with special events, promotions and Limited and Special Edition products.
