The four-day tour of Switzerland included aguided full-day Jungfrau Alpine rail tour tothe Jungfraujoch, the ‘top of Europe’ -- the highest railway station in Europe at 3,454 metres above sea level -- the highlight of any Swiss holiday.
A full day guided tour of Lucerne with a viewing of the Kapellbrückecovered wooden footbridge and Löwendenkmal – the famous sculpture of the Lion of Lucerne,and a cruise on Lucerne Lake on the charter boat ‘Charles Bucher,’ visits to City Hall andthe Fraumünster and Grossmünster churches in Zurich, a visit to the Swiss National Transport Museum including a 3D entertainment film in an Imax theatre and a guided tour ofthe Maestrani Chocolate Factory at Flawil were among the other highlights of the visit to Switzerland.
The 200-strong group of Ceylinco Life policyholders and their family members that toured Singapore experienced the Singapore Flyer, visits to the Merlion, Fountain of Wealth, China Town and Orchid Garden, a tour of Sentosa including a cable car ride, visits to Madam Tussauds and Underwater World with the Dolphin Show and Wings of Time show, a Crane Show at Resort World and shopping at Mustafa Centre.
“For the majority of the winners of these tours, these were first time experiences that created lasting memories of time spent together as families as well as members of the vast Ceylinco Life policyholder family in Sri Lanka,” Ceylinco Life Director/Deputy CEO Thushara Ranasinghe said.

Earlier this year, another 40 people -- ten policyholders and the members of their families -- visited Dubai on an all-expenses-paid holiday, while 2,000 people from the families of 500 policyholders spent a fun-filled day at Leisure World as part of the 2015 edition of the ‘Family Savari’ promotion.
In all, 2,260 people from 565 policyholder families won places at the eighth edition of the Ceylinco Life Family Savari, by far the largest interactive customer promotion in Sri Lanka’s insurance industry.
This year’s programme saw two new brand ambassadors, the popular actor RoshanRanawana and his wife Kushlani join Family Savari veterans SriyanthaMendis and Sanjeewani Weerasinghe to endorse and actively participate in the Savari programmes.
The promotion period for Family Savari 8 ran from September to December 2014, during which all active long term Ceylinco Life policyholders as well as holders of Ceylinco Life Retirement Accounts (CRAs) earned multiple winning chances that increased with the age of their policies.
