Godrej Launches Good knight Fast Card ( Video )

Godrej Household Products (Lanka) Pvt. Ltd., one of the leading FMCG companies in the country, today announced the launch of Good knight Fast Card.

Godrej is a key player in the Sri Lanka household insecticide market and having own manufacturing set up, with brands like Good knight & HIT spanning the market across all the major formats: Coils, Liquid Vaporizers and Aerosols.

With nearly 30 years of global expertise in this category, Good knight has now introduced Good knight Fast Card – a new mosquito repellent format, the first of its kind – in the country, which will appeal to consumers due to its quick effect, ease of use and attractive price.

The highlight of Good knight Fast Card is that it burns for just few minutes, instantly driving mosquitoes away, while remaining effective for nearly four hours.


It consumes no electricity and is easy to use, which makes it different from all other repellents in the market. The product has been priced at Rs. 40 for a booklet of 10 cards, which means Rs. 4 per card.

The Good knight Fast Card TV commercial communicates a strong public awareness message on “prevention is better than cure” concept, to the audience.


“Prevent risk and protect human lives” is the opening message of the TVC which highlights Fast Card’s commitment and corporate social responsibility towards a ‘dengue free’ nation.


The message also educates about keeping home and surroundings clean, inhibiting mosquito breeding places.


Godrej has also introduced a very interesting digital initiative to engage the consumers on social media and mobile platforms to take forward this initiative.
