Mahapola Lotto now at your doorstep

New mobile units offer ‘pick your own number’ lotto benefits direct to consumers’ homes.

Continuing its efforts to innovate the lotteries sector for the betterment of all Sri Lankans, Mahapola Lotto has launched a new mobile sales promotions motor vehicle fleet, which has already started crisscrossing key regional markets, with even more destinations to be added in coming months.

Currently spanning Colombo, Dambulla, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Puttalam, the Mahapola Lotto mobile units, which were only just commissioned at the end of October 2014, have already become the preferred choice for some residents, a result of the added convenience provided by their direct-to-home services.

While also offering the opportunity to purchase M Lotto, M Lotto Plus, M Super Lotto and M4D, the main purpose of this fleet of simple motor van-type vehicles is to create awareness of Mahapola Lotto’s Sri Lankan-first "pick your own number" lotto concept along with its yet-to-be-won, highest-ever Rs. 150 million grand jackpot.

Further, in supporting on-the-ground consumer activations by Mahapola Lotto personnel and dealers, the mobile units also endeavour to keep people excited by gifting to participants all manner of Mahapola Lotto merchandise, from t-shirts to caps, etc.

Educating, entertaining and, overall, engaging prospective customers and their friends and neighbours, Mahapola Lotto mobile units are not just marketing tools, instead they bring a fun-filled, unique experience wherever they go, giving audiences a brief holiday from their everyday lives by offering music, gifts and all types of interesting information to the towns and villages they visit.

And, most important of all, it continues to be a source of great pride for Mahapola Lotto that a significant portion of earnings from its lottery, which is growing as a result of its rapidly expanding dealer network, has already started helping to fund the long-running and highly-respected Mahapola national higher education scholarship programme.

"On-the-ground sales and marketing promotional programmes such as these newly inaugurated Mahapola Lotto mobile units work so well in Sri Lanka because they educate consumers while entertaining them at the same time.

As such, in keeping with our efforts to uplift the lives of all Sri Lankans, we at Mahapola Lotto are pleased to provide this new innovation in the local lottery industry, which not only helps people to access our services better, but also adds more opportunities and excitement to their everyday lives", said Oceanic Games Corporate Communications Manager Harshini Sirinanda.
